the main character really is something else. from only a few pages in the first look, you really do get to find out a lot about her. i’m already aware of the experiment mentioned in the book, i’ve heard about it in shows before etc, but i think this is a really good take on it. this book is an interesting way of performing this experiment, it’s been really interesting so far. i already have a lot of questions about the characters so far, there’s already so much to learn about them! putting hilda and paul as partners in the experiment has already been really cool to read about, they’re almost complete opposites which makes you wonder what their relationship pans out to be later on in the book. it also felt like there was some sort of connection between jeff and hilda which makes me wonder what comes out of their relationship too - i would love to read more!
