Overall, I enjoyed this book, but I wouldn't say it has become a favourite. The storyline is easy to follow (being that it is extremely simple and there aren't too many characters to keep track of). It is a very quick read, as a lot of the chapters are simply a script between the two main characters (speech or messaging). Now, I like how that split things up but when you're relying on the character's speech to convey what action has taken place, it doesn't play out well in your imagination. (Personal preference, so don't let that put you off reading it).
The main characters, Hildy and Paul (aka Betty and Bob), I found to be a little "obvious"- typical bad boy with a soft centre and good girl with hidden problems. It came across as slightly annoying in Hildy's case, I struggled to like her, even as the book progressed.
Good book if you're looking for a quick, uncomplicated read.
