Very enjoyable and easy reading

The tone of the book is very light and very easy reading. I found that it moves forward at a nice pace and the topic was fun. I felt it was well written with enough descriptive to allow me as the reader to form a visual image of the characters and surroundings without feeling like I was just reading a description of each scene and taking away from the story itself. You immediately feel a sympathy for Hildy as she appears very awkward and clumsy when she appears at the office whereas Jeff seems to conduct himself in a much more self assured manner and is successful in his life. The extract is very enjoyable and leads me to believe that the remainder of the book would be equally with a happy ending.
