What a clever idea Vicki Grant had. To write a book based on two strangers answering 36 questions about their lives, thoughts and feelings. Paul and Hildy are very quirky and easy to like. They've both been through a lot in their short lives and this experiment to find out if they can build a relationship is so well written.
I read this in one sitting as it romps along, so easy to get caught up in their lives. There is a colourful cast of supporting characters and some unexpected drama adds depth to this delightful novel.
It's one of those books that make you feel good; I smiled a lot whilst reading and am keeping my fingers crossed that Vicki may perhaps write a sequel. I would love to read more about Paul and Hildy.
The perfect story to curl up with and enjoy during a long winter evening. More please Vicki!
