This sounds like an interesting premise. While I usually stay away from books that are set so close to home, I enjoyed the way the suspense was set up with the chapters going back and froth between past and present day. It pulled me into the story and intrigued me enough that I’d love to find out what happened to Ciara and what led to the murder. Sounds promising so far!
