This opening drew me in immediately. I love pen pictures of people which deal with wo they are rather than what they look like. The cover is very suitable, giving nothing away but conveying the importance of time in this novel. What an apposite storyline - it's the first Covid story I've come across and I can see so many familiar signals of these extraordinary times that I can't wait to read it.
