I can see the setting during lockdown providing plot opportunities for the author to exploit even if it does provide reminders of a period most of us would rather forget. I didn't find the instant attraction between the two characters in the supermarket queue believable, it seemed very superficial. I know the author is highly regarded by other readers but this one isn't for me I think.
