What a brilliant book which is set during the Covid-19 first lockdown in Dublin. This is the first pandemic themed novel I have read and I thought it was well done and very clever.
Ciara and Oliver meet in a supermarket and begin dating just before lockdown starts due to the global pandemic. Ciara moves in with Oliver for the two weeks of lockdown but they have told no-one about this.
Now there is a decomposing body found in Oliver's flat, but who is it! The Gardai Lee and Karl are investigating. I found those characters quite funny with their banter. There are lots of shocking secrets unravelled, none of which I could have guessed.
The story totally kept me engrossed and had great twists I didn't see coming! I would definitely recommend this fantastic thriller. I have read most of Catherine Ryan Howard's books and would pick up any new novel by the author.
