This is the third in the series by Anton Du Beke and although I haven't read the first two I enjoyed this book and the story was easy to get into. It was a lovely story to read curled up on the settee reading about how the chambermaid Nancy Nettleton is getting ready to marry debonair dancer Raymond de Guise. As Christmas is coming life in the hotel is busy and with tensions building across Europe as war is imminent you know you are going to become engrossed in the characters of the story as the guests of the hotel start arriving and you won't be disappointed. This series is great for fans of historical fiction and is a lovely Christmas story with a few twists and turns. It makes me want to read the first two books in the series and look forward to reading more from Anton Du Beke. I love the book cover it matches the story inside and is very christmassy.
