I've always loved Anton's dancing, but I never knew he was an author as well. It was gripping from the very beginning. There were some major plot points introduced in the first two chapters, which I think are developed as the book continues. The characters seem very interesting, and I'd love to know more about them, especially Miss Moffat, she seems so nice. The descriptions were very good, and I could easily picture the Buckingham, and the people inside of it. It seemed a bit wordy, but I don't really mind, as I prefer books with more descriptions and detail, but it might not be your own personal preference. I didn't realise it was historical until I started reading the first look, but I always find historical books more interesting, especially ones set during, or before the war. I brought the book after reading the first look, and it was truly amazing. However, as it is part of a series, I will defientely be checking the first two out as well, and then rereading it again, as some of the things mentioned will proabably make more sense after reading the first two, but overall, a great book!
