I’m really fond of Anton as a person and his books just ooze him. I loved this book, all Antons books give me a warm fuzzy feeling and adding Christmas into the mix made it even better. I liked the characters and you could sense the passion in the pages. I’d highly recommend to anyone who loves period dramas, it has very Downton Abbey feels , one to pick up if you have withdrawal symptoms from the series. My nan absolutely loves these books (I had to read it quickly ready to pass on to her) so this shows they’re appropriate and enjoyed by all age groups.
The cover is nice enough, I’m not sure I’d be running to pick it up if I saw it in a shop however Anton Du Beke’s name being associated I can imagine that’s enough to make enough people pick it up. I’d highly recommend this to anyone who loves a period drama and dance, this book is so easy to loose yourself in.
