From the cover I wasn't certain if this was going to be a book I would take too but I was willing to give it a go. I actually liked the sample more than I thought, but as the 5th in a series I get the feeling I'm missing some of the build-up that has gone before. The setting really appeals to be, in both time and place, but I'm not so sure about the characters and plot. Not one for me this time, but it's certainly well written and show plenty of promise.
