The cover of Memory for Murder would not have drawn me to the book, however once I started reading it I found it hard to stop and I can see why the Author is Number One Crime writer in Norway. The book is fast paced and although it is the third instalment, it is a separate story so you will pick it up very quickly.
It all starts with three women meeting for lunch and one of them is killed but was she the target and if so why. This leads into lots of twists and turns and several stories all running alongside of the murder. Selma is the main character and she wants to find out if she was meant to be the target or why her best friend was killed. This means that she has to use all of her contacts and skills to discover a dark side of the Government department looking after Children and solve the connection.
Meanwhile there are other murders are these connected or not. Really enjoyed this book and will look out for more books by this author.
