A passion for Poison is a True Crime novel that tells the story of the life and crimes of Graham Young AKA the "Teacup poisoner", who at the age of 14 stood trial in the Old Bailey charged with the poising of family and friends. He was found guilty and became the youngest patient incarcerated in Broadmoor Hospital. He was released in 1971 and used his employment at a factory in Bovingdon to continue his morbid passion for poisons and for poisoning others.

Carol Ann Lee has written a very detailed book, which is easy to follow. I enjoyed the short introduction on the history of poisons and their uses at the beginning of the book. I thought this was very informative. Lots of hard work and research has gone into putting this book together, which is shown by the extensive bibliography.

I thought this was a fantastic account of how Graham Young poisoned family members, friends and colleagues throughout his life. I had never heard about Graham Young before reading this, so overall I thought that this was a very interesting read.
