I really enjoyed this book, for a non-fiction, which isn’t usually my go-to genre at all. However, I have an interest in true crime and this hit the spot.

I never knew much about Graham Young at all; so from that alone I felt like I learned a lot about this individual but also society from the time he was around, including what life was like for an ordinary person, but also what it was like at broadmoor as well.

One thing that I really appreciated from this book was the amount of research that had gone into it alone. I enjoy this type of book that you can tell a lot of research has gone into the book, but also used in a way to tell the same story but in a different way. It didn’t feel like I was just reading a memoir or somebody’s thoughts of Young, it had evidence to support what was said.

I would recommend this book to anybody that has an interest in Graham Young, you won’t be disappointed!
