For me this was a 5 star read.
I have only recently made the leap from true crime documentaries to true crime books, and I found this one absolutely fascinating.
The book was well written and felt extremely well researched. It gripped you enough that you wanted to know more and carry on reading.
This book highlights some of the problems with our system, and how agencies don’t communicate, meaning people can get away with these crimes for much longer than one would expect.
The detail in this book is brilliant. I would recommend this book to any fans of true crime, however it is such an interesting read that I would also recommend this book to people who may not usual be drawn to this genre.
As with any book of this nature some parts were difficult to read, and it really does make you think. I really hope that carol writes more true crime in the future.
