I thought that the book was a good true crime story about a case that had not been covered too widely as yet. I really enjoy reading about true crime, especially cases which I have not heard about previously or watched TV shows about.
As with the author’s previous true crime work, many of which I have read, the style was really good and the story kept me interested throughout. The pacing was good and I was never bored whilst reading the book.
I found the people involved very compelling and the way that the case was brought to life was very vivid and memorable. I always think this author describes the real people involved with empathy and understanding in the circumstances. Matters are not sensationalised or exaggerated to cause effect.
