I was instantly captivated by this book. The negotiations were laced with tension and intrigue from page 1. The character were shown as contrasting and interesting immediately and I couldn’t stop reading! I did, however, notice what may be an error. Near the end of the first page, it reads “ ...and then they both looked away, like cats that cannot hold eye contact.” I am by no means a professional author, but it appears to switch tense only for this line. I found that it seemed out of place in the flow of the story.
