I got a copy in the mail ad couldn't help but read it straight away. The setting was amazing and the characters throughout kept me interested in the story line and the progression each had.
The novel was beautifully written and felt as if I was in the world with the lead protagonists. However, the genre isn't for me. This book was the first historical fiction book that I had read and, although I enjoyed it, couldn't see myself re-reading it.
It would be a great read and adventure for those interested in the past, especially the war time, but it isn't for everyone. I gave it four stars because it was a little slow at some points and I found myself struggling to carry on in those moments, but other than that it was amazing and I would 100% recommend the book and author to others if they are looking for an action pact novel set in the 1900's war period.
