This thrilling historical fiction set in 1942 Stockholm is clearly an intriguing read, despite the short part of it that i have read i can tell this book would be one of my favourites because of the description of characters.Initially the Duke of kent is introduced as a nervous and uncertain character, this completely contradicts his role as a high member in society and a royal.This already tells us that this book will not a traditional story on boring royal characters but an exciting plot and one that leaves you hungry for more. the consistent change of location within this book really helps the transport the reader to the time that this story was set ,further helping the reader to understand what was going on as this separate issue was happening.The authors ability to take the reader on journey with the book helps the plot unfold and gives them a feeling of personal deceit and trickery along with he characters
