i instantly loved this story, from the moment i read the blurb till the end of the section. it showed this amazing story of what probably would have happened to hundreds of women during nearly all of the wars fought but that no one talks about. everyone normally thinks of the wives left behind as heroic and loyal to a fault but people seem to forget that it was real life and nothing is as it seems. i feel this showed that exactly. you really connect with her and it compels you to read on.
