I love sagas, the story that does not end so simply and shortly - so the genre of the book, as well as a cover, definitely made me keen to pick it up from the shelf. The story is set up in WWII times, and it is exciting how Jean Fullerton established the story of a young wife and mother in these challenging times. It makes me curious from the very beginning - I can feel that Cathy is a strong woman, but if it will be enough to win the battle with a life an all challenges that she will meet on her path. Definitely need to add it to TBR list.
