A number of things immediately put me off entering the draw for this story ... the fact that it's the latest in a family saga and, as I haven't read any of the earlier books I'm sure I'd feel irritated by my lack of knowledge about the characters' back-stories and the fact that the cover suggests a rather lightweight story! I did start to read the extract but didn't finish it because it quickly confirmed that I'd be unlikely to enjoy the rest of the story.
