I bought this book as the copy I used my points for never arrived and no reply to emails.
I have read all of the books in this series and quite sad that this is the last but once again it was lovely to get back with the Brogan’s and seeing what was happening.
Queenie went by the church one day and saw an ambulance taking Father Mahon who had collapsed.
Queenie was very upset and worried about him and during this book it takes you back to the start of their friendship in Kinsale in Ireland.
I found it really nice to learn about her as normal she is seen just as the matriarch of the family and also someone that can get around rules and regulations to get what was needed for the family but never knew more about her other than the fact there is a wonder if Jeremiah, her son, may in fact be Father Mahon’s son, but I’m not giving the answer to that away.
If you enjoyed the others I think you will enjoy this one as well.
It could be read as a stand alone book but I think it’s better if you know how the family is made up.
