I've been meaning to read novels by Jean Fullerton for a while now and am glad I've finally given it a go as I really loved this novel which fits in well with with my interest of social history and in particular the second world war.
Not wanting to give away any spoilers.....
Jean Fullerton is an accomplished writer and gives another well researched and brilliantly written book which oozes nostalgia for a time gone by and the commeradery of life. So well written I really felt as though I was living the story with the characters who were well constructed and believable.
I shall make sure to read more offerings from the author in this series and highly recommend it as a great book and one to share.
