Having enjoyed reading "A ration book childhood", I was expecting to enjoy "A ration book wedding" more than I did. I did enjoy getting the next instalment of what was happening in the Brogan family. I liked that although the focus was on different characters than in the last book, they were still in the story. However, I found it hard to stay motivated to read in the second half of the book and it was quite easy to guess a couple of the things that happened in the story. While I did like the ending, it felt like it wrapped up a little too easily. That said, I found the storyline to do with Charlie trying to get custody of his son Patrick interesting and found myself getting annoyed with his wife Stella's behaviour!
