This was another great read from Jean Fullerton . I have read other books from this series and I have been waiting as Francesca finally gets her man in fact she is spoilt for choice in this one. Jean yet again depicts the time line and family values of the war era and this is a good wholesome read . Francesca has to make some decisions with a new man and new job with the BBC life is looking up at the same time as keeping up to date with goings on of the Brogan family and all their family gossip , tiffs and genuine friendship and kindness that brings us all through the hard times in wartime . The book yet again shows the strength of kinship in hard times and is well worth an hour or two of your time.
