The extract of this story shows that you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover or the timeline it is set in. I inititally thought I would have no interest in a book set in Viking times and the write up about it didn't sound too convincing.
However, the style of writing was great - really involving. It was a great scene-setting start of a book and I wanted to read more and find out what would happen next.
