I liked that this seemed to be set in a sort of fantasy world with lots of rich description of scenery and a great sense of impending doom. However I felt that there were too many characters with unusual names introduced at the start and I can't remember who is who, as there is no physical description of any of the male characters, yet our first female character has 'raven-black
hair, the smooth fall of her robe over the curves of her body and
those restless emerald eyes, she was a distraction to any man'.
However, if you enjoy fantasy and can get on-board with a lot of information in one go then you may enjoy this book.
