I was hooked from the first page. I love a good viking story. I started reading this on the lead up to a holiday and obviously not wanting to take a big lumpy hardback with me due to the weight I was determined to finish it before I went. I had to know the ending of this story. There was no way I was going to wait until I got home! So in the car with me it came and in the car we sat in Gatwick Airport until I finished every word! If I could have tot way with not sleeping just to keep my head in the book I would have! The pace and the character development was fantastic. The words draw you in. Make you feel like you're really there and that all of the characters are your best friends or enemies. This is definitely an author I want more from.
