Not for me
Firstly, I didn't realise that A Sacred Storm is the second book in a series, it wasn't advertised as such at all. So I felt slightly on the back foot as soon as I began.
Also this book is huge, I didn't realise how big this book is, over 600 pages. And I admit to struggling to finish the book. I do enjoy historical fiction books but unfortunately I'm not a fan of very large books. 400 pages is usually the max amount I can handle.
I did give this book a go, however I skipped some of the more slightly gory or violent scenes as they were slightly off putting.
If you thoroughly enjoy historical fiction and/or thrillers with ample of violence and aren't afraid of books of a gigantic size then you should definitely give A Sacred Storm a go.
