The premise of this book is immediately relatable: who amongst us doesn't have fears? Who doesn't have superstitions? Esther and Jonah, the empathetic main characters in this YA novel by Chemical Hearts author Krystal Sutherland, embark on a journey to face all of their fears. And, given that Esther's family has allowed their fears to run rampant over their lives... that's no easy task. I can't wait to read this novel to find out how Esther changes over the course of Jonah's challenges, both within herself and in relation to her family. Don't be put off by the cover (are people actually scared of lobsters? Is Esther?), I am sure this second novel by Krystal Sutherland will be as excellent as her first.
