This book was honestly mind blowing, like I said in my title. I didn’t really expect a lot from this book and maybe this is why it amazed me so much. In the beginning of the book everything is very light, very easy to accept even though everything is pretty weird. But at the end of the book everything changes it’s one of those changes that you would never expect but you love anyway. I love how the story and characters are very weird but you still feel a connection with them. In the end I even started feeling the way Esther felt and most specifically about how she thought she didn’t need a therapist. I honestly didn’t think she had a mental illness and I even believed that the story her grandfather told her about Death was real, like she did. I even ended up crying because I really thought that Eugene died. I loved the bond between the twins so much that I wished that I had a twin. I personally think that the author did a very good job with this book, the way she didn’t really use cliches, the way some things were weird but adorable at the same time. Everything about this book amazed me. This is one of those books that everyone has to read at least once, because it is really worth it.
