Absolutely loved this book. Initially I chose it because I enjoyed Krystal Sutherland's other book, 'Our Chemical Hearts' (another amazing read). This book filled me with joy as we follow Esther and her eccentric family's story into the past whilst learning about their present. Esther joins forces with Jonah who runs into her life ready for adventure. You go along with Esther for the ride, with her crazy costumes and her out of the ordinary fears (and the adventures that they create). Whilst all this is happening, she is trying to cope with and support her family- her depressed twin, her gambling addicted mother and her agoraphobic father. It's a lot, but I could not put this book down! It was enticing and I cannot wait for any more of this authors books.
