Wonderfully unique story

A semi definitive list of worst nightmares follows a teenage girl and her strange family who are 'cursed' her father doesn't leave the basement and her twin brother is terrified of the dark. Esther dresses up as a different person every time she leaves the house and her bestfriend doesn't talk. Esther is a socially awkward teenage girl who faces many of the same problems as 'normal' teenagers such as the crushing feeling of anxiety. This allows the reader to connect with the characters on a level which is deeper than the surface. It also passes on the messaage that you are not alone with how you feel and the stresses that life, school, parties and social interaction can cause. It is a wonderfully unique way of connecting with and reassuring the reader. This book is ideal for teenagers who love magic, romance and all things wonderful. I highly recommend this!
