I knew before reading this first impression that I wasn't the intended audience and I probably wouldn't enjoy it, but I always like to give a book a try before writing them off. The book does seem to be humorous and the author has evidently put some thought into the alternatives and how these can ben funny, but they didn't seem to be laugh out loud funny, which is a shame. I did like the cover though!
I can imagine this book would be an ideal secret Santa gift, but I do think it would have to be given to someone who you know would just laugh it off. Unfortunately it's probably not one of those books that will get re-read year after year.
