I was not expecting much from this book, and I have to say I am incredibly happy to have received it!
It is incredibly funny and makes you think about so many things about Christmas, while giving you tips, tricks and suggestions to makeyour Christmas more eco-friendly and more bearable as a holiday.
I also really like the cover, with the avocado in a Christmas hat on it, and the size of the book: it is so small!
I absolutely adore the fact that it addresses the various issues in the world, from sexism to capitalism, all with a funny and jolly spirit.
The substitute song to the 'The Twelve Days of Christams' cracked me up so much, and various snarky remarks about celebrities and politicians are now stuck in my head.
It is not my typical read, yet I am happy that I did read it, because it is an eye-opening, interesting, witty book to read before Christmas.
