Normally I hate Christmas, with overprice turkey, awkward gift giving and the dreaded Christmas shopping, the month of December is one I absolutely hate.
However this small, short pocket sized book that drew me in by it fantastic cover (who doesn't love a green fruit in a Christmas hat?) made my Christmas hell run smoother.
The book has funny aspects but also provides little educational facts and statistics (did you know Tom Smith invented the Christmas cracker?) however the black and white pictures where a let down and i would have liked to see some in colour to brighten up the book a bit.
Whatever way you read this book you'll find it very thought provoking and hilariously funny. It is a perfect stocking filler for your friendly Christmas Grinches as it just might bring a small smile to their faces, though I doubt it will make their hearts grow any bigger.
