I wasn’t expecting this layout to the book but I really enjoyed it! It was like a manual or a guide to Christmas, but it was hilarious! It included alternatives so songs and social situations in a relatable way which I loved! And also funny little stories and snapshots from the authors and many others lives. Another aspect I enjoyed was all the possible ways Christmas’s could go wrong🤣 which may sound like a negative of a book but it made it more funny and actually makes you appreciate how great your Christmas is and al the things that could’ve gone wrong😅. My personal favourite part of this guide was ‘The Snowflake Song’ and ‘An alternative Yuletide Playlist” as it got me laughing but also sent out an important message don’t get me wrong! Furthermore, I loved the layout of how it was illustrated and included images aswell, it made the book even more fun and added to the demeanour of the comedy genre. Overall, I loved this book/guide and would recommend it to anyone looking for a light-hearted Christmassy read! :)
