This pocket size book would make a good stocking filler or as a Christmas Eve gift. I laughed out loud at some of the humorous pages.
It does offer lovely black and white pictures, but I would have preferred to see colourful pictures to brighten the book up.
The idea of A Snowflakes Guide to Christmas is to offer possible solutions at Christmas time to save the environment. It's a bit of a laugh really the ideas that Dave Skinner has suggested, and not to be taken seriously, unless you really want too.
Most of the ideas throughout this book I wouldn't personally adopt like what this funny book suggests. For me this one was one of the most funniest, I wouldn't dream of just using a plant in pot and dress it up with fancy ribbon or draw a paint a picture of a Christmas tree, I like my tradional Christmas tree with lights and hanging Christmas decorations on it.
The best part I liked was the educational information like who invented Christmas crackers.
