When I won a copy of 'The Windsor Knot' I was a bit sceptical about whether I'd be able to fully engage with the rather surreal idea of HM Queen as a royal Miss Marple but I absolutely loved the book. It was so full of humour, well-executed, psychologically credible characters and believable insights into the workings of the royal family that I frequently found myself laughing out loud. When I reached the end I surprised myself by hoping I wouldn't have to wait too long before the next book in the series would be published. Delighted to know that the wait is now over and, from reading the sneak preview, it's already clear that this story will be every bit as entertaining (maybe even more so!) as the first ... and I'm delighted to discover that the lovely Rozie is back as HM's side-kick!
As the colder, autumnal nights draw in this will be a perfect antidote to the idea of winter being just around the corner ... now I just have to hope that I'll be lucky enough to win a copy!
