The second in the series and it has been lovely to revisit the Queen and her staff on another investigation. I'm glad I took the time to read the first book, it featured the main characters and I got to know them as individual characters also. Even with that, I could have read this as a standalone, the author wrote in a little bit of the characters backgrounds within this book. Just like the first, the author is consistent with the Queen and Rozie investigating some matters in the cases where the investigation officer and other staff are seen to be the ones to have solved the case. Again like the first, it is a sweet and delightful read and the cases weren’t always the main focus of the story. I liked that I could read a fictional glimpse into the Queen's day-to-day. It made me chuckle. I even had my hand on my heart at one point. I cannot wait to read the next instalment of the series.
