A Three Dog Problem is the second book in the series and follows the Queen and her APS Rozie as they deal with the case of a missing painting and the death of a member of staff.

The book is light hearted and charming and I enjoyed seeing the Queen’s personality come to life as she attempts to solve the crimes going on under her roof.

There are lots of characters in the book and at times I got slightly confused with who’s who. However this didn’t take away from the good crime plot at the centre of the story which had lots of twists and turns. I also really enjoyed the detail of the palace, reading this book felt very much like having a peek behind the curtain at royal life!

Overall an enjoyable read that I really enjoyed and would recommend to any fans of a cosy murder mystery. I’m looking forward to the third book in the series which comes out later this year!
