The second book in the series where Her Majesty the Queen solves crimes that occur around her at the Palace. These are really enjoyable reads as the are set around real events and then a web of fiction is spun around them. You dont need to have read the first book but I think it helps to understand the relationships between characters.

'In the three dog problem' there are unforessen consequences when the Queen notices a painting from her collection while at a Royal naval exhibition. The Queen is portrayed in a Miss Marple type way, pointing charactes to nformation and letting them think they have solved things themselves. A really enjoyable mystery especially if you like to learn about how the palace works. The character of Rozie, her trusted secretary, is explored more in this book and I hope we get to learn more about her in the next book.
