I absolutely loved this book! I must admit I was a bit dubious about whether I would enjoy this book, but it drew me in from the start.
It's a very well written, funny book about the Queen and her assistant Rozie solving the mystery of a painting that had mysteriously vanished and the murder of a very unpopular member of staff.
I loved the way the author also gently made fun of the likes of Theresa May and Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie too.
The trouble is I'm never going to be able to look at the Queen in the same way again, I'll always wonder if she is quietly solving some mystery or other at the palace.
I really hope that when she's got an evening free of royal duties she is sat there in an armchair with her glass of dubonet and lemonade reading this book and chuckling to herself thinking about how she'd do things differently.
I will definitely be looking out for more books by this author.
