Sadly, I didn’t finish this book. I read about a quarter of it, so this review is only based on a quarter of the book. I read a first look of the book and I found it rather entertaining, however I was disappointed when I started reading the full book. A quarter of a way into the book barely anything had happened. The story line and the characters didn’t really engage me and I didn’t feel that I was bothered about knowing what would happen at the end. The actual writing of the book is fine, it just wasn’t the book for me. Character development was a bit slow, but it was nice to read about the Royals in it. It wasn’t quite the mystery book I was expecting it to be. I’m sure other people will read it and love it, but people have different tastes. I hadn’t read the other book in the series, so I don’t know if this would have made a difference in me reading and enjoying it.
