Having been lucky enough to win a copy of The Windsor Knot I was so pleased to receive this book.
Once again the Queen Investigates a death which happens at the Swimming pool in Buckingham Palace and which initially looks like a tragic, accidental death. Of course it isn't and turns out to be a murder which the Queen and her Private Secretary investigate.
I actually thought this book was better than the first one and I enjoyed it more. There is a lot box subtle humour in the book and it is very well written.
There are various sub plots going on too which introduce us to some interesting characters.
I do love the thought of the Queen secretly investigating crimes and I think she would be very good at it too!
Overall this was a book which I really enjoyed. The story was good and flowed nicely. This would be a perfect book for anyone who love cosy murder mystery books.
I can't wait for the next one in the series to come out!!
