I thoroughly enjoyed this series and was really happy to hear that it would be a series and would continue.
This is book two in the series and it continues with the queen becoming a detective to help solve a murder that has taken place in Buckingham palace. The housekeeper who no one really likes is found dead by the swimming pool in a pool of blood. To begin with everyone assumes that the death is just an accident but as the clues are unraveling it becomes very clear that this was no accident and so The Queen sets about with the help of her secretary Rozie to workout what has happened.

When an oil painting of the Royal Yacht Britannia - first given to the Queen in the 1960s - shows up unexpectedly in a Royal Navy exhibition, she begins to realise that something is up.

This is such an enjoyable and interesting read and I can’t wait to see what the author comes up with next.
