I really loved this story. There was just enough mystery and drama to make it fun and exciting without being too difficult to keep up with the story. From first look you expect a relatively easy read, nothing too difficult to understand and follow and the book doesn’t disappoint. It isn’t boring and I read it quite quickly. The story is entertaining to think of what the queen may get up to in her home and keeping herself entertained. It wasn’t too long which is another plus for when you want a story you can get lost in. I think the mystery was good, not sure it was believable but then you don’t expect that from the start. The characters were well written and setup - it was a little confusing to keep up with the hierarchy of the queens household which could have been explained a little more but that is more of a interest thing rather then relevant to to the story. I would definitely recommend for some entertainment and something different from a classic murder mystery. I will be looking for more like it!
