The cover of A Throne Of Swans represents the dark twist to the story we all loved as a child, at least I think it's a retelling of The Swan Princess. The title suggest that it's about a kingdom and a swan which make me think instantly of the old telling of The Swan Princess which makes me curious, especially when the cover is all dark and mysterious and that gives me the impression of a retelling that has grown with its audience. That makes an interesting setting for a story, so that's why I chose to read the first few pages.
The epoiloge gives a peek in the history of what this character has been through with just little words and yet it describes it so well how she must have felt. It's no lie that the use of words is very specific and detailed and displays the feeling of the character well, which shows hows she experiecne things more intensief which almost makes us a part of this story.
